Job details

Sleep technologists, also known as polysomnographic technologists, work with physicians to evaluate and treat sleep disorders by performing sleep studies on patients.
They record clinical data such as brain activity, heart rate, breathing patterns, and blood oxygen levels while patients sleep.
They then use this data to develop reports that physicians use to diagnose and treat disorders like narcolepsy and sleep apnea.

Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years

Schedule information

Orientation - Allied and Therapy Travelers start orientation on Tuesdays.
Nursing Travelers start orientation on Thursdays.
Travelers will expect about 6 hours worth of modules to complete prior to start.
If modules are completed prior to their initial start date, facility will compensate them.

Profile Requirements: Licensure & Certifications
Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates at a reduced rate).
Multipliers - No increased rate for OT, Holiday, and Call-Back
Rebate - This client has a rebate policy. Please see the Master Agreement for details.
Call Policy - On Call paid out at $2 per hour with 1 Hour Minimum
Local Policy - Applicants within a certain radius of Comanche County will be considered for a placement at a reduced rate.
