Job Description

• Position in the Onc Pod Emergency Department.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience.
• Oncology experience is preferred but not required.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.

Required Certifications

• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Skills Required

• Proficient in IV starts.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring.

Patient Ratio

• 1:4

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Information

• Request Time Off (RTO): Submission required at the time of application. Up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility's discretion for a 14-week contract.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Documentation required stating the individual is in good health and free of contagious disease.
• Vaccinations:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu vaccine during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccination (recommended but not required)

Background Check

• 7-Year Criminal Background Check required within 1 year of start.

References

• 2 professional references required, including at least 1 from a manager or director.
