Job details

M/S Unit Information: Bed Capacity is 32, with 40 employees including a Director, Manager, CN's, Staff RN's, LVN's, Nurse Aides, and Unit Secretaries. Day Shift consists of CN and 3-5 staff nurses depending on census, along with 2-3 nurse aides and a Unit Secretary, while Night Shift has similar staffing. Patient Ratios are 6-7 patients per nurse with 2-3 nurses depending on census. Equipment includes PCA pumps, and IV pumps. EMR system is in use.

Job requirements

Med-Surg experience.
Minimum of 2 years recent hospital experience.
Preferred skills include: Surgical experience; bilingual candidates are preferred though it is not mandatory; familiarity with Meditech.

Schedule information

Typical procedures performed include admissions, discharges, transfers, wound care, IV's, blood administration, collecting of specimens, and medication administration.

Additional Details
