• Number of Beds:

  • 4 procedure rooms (1 primarily for EP studies and device implants)
  • 12 bed pre/post holding room
• Staffing:

  • 4 RN FTEs for Pre and Post
  • 6 RN FTEs for procedural rooms
  • 4 FTEs for radiology technologists
  • 1 part-time secretary
  • 1 full-time RN manager
• Patient Ratios: 2 RNs and 1 RT per procedure

  • Philips Allura FD20-1
  • Philips Azurion-2
  • GE room -1
  • Merge hemodynamic monitoring equipment
  • Philips ISCV PACS system
• EMR: EPIC

Shift Information

• Shift Times: Varies (07:00-15:30, 08:00-16:30, or 09:00-17:30)
• Call Requirements: 9-11 per month with one weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) per month
• Block Scheduling: Approved for 4x10 hour shifts

Hiring Profile

Required Skills

• Licensed ARRT for the state of Illinois
• Experience scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary interventions and STEMIs
• Experience scrubbing pacemaker and defibrillator device implants
• Experience scrubbing interventional radiology procedures
• Ability to scrub cardiac cath cases and STEMI programs

Preferred Skills

• Typical procedures performed include:

  • Left and right heart catheterization
  • Coronary interventions
  • Temporary pacemaker insertions
  • Various interventional radiology procedures (e.g., PICC lines, embolizations)
