Must have: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care, active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients.
Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS.
Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultrasounds.

Schedule information

Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend.

Patient Ratios: 1:1 Laboring patients, 3:1 Couplets

Documentation system: Meditech / CPN
Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP
Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report / Safety Rounding
