Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 347-bed acute care hospital
• Staffing:

  • 3 Full-Time OTs
  • 6 PRN OTs
  • 1 PRN COTA
• Patient Ratios: 8-12 patients per day
• Type of Equipment:

  • ADL training kitchen
  • Tub and shower transfer training room
  • Splinting equipment
  • Various therapy tools (e.g., dynamometers, weighted dowels)
• EMR System: Meditech
• Permanent Positions Available: Yes

Required Qualifications

• Must Have:

  • Texas OT License
  • Current BLS Certification
• Preferred:

  • Bilingual (English, Spanish)
  • Acute care experience

• Strength, ROM, coordination training
• Early mobility
