PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for ER and Brain Injury units

NIH Stroke Certification required for all RN candidates

State license is not required for CNAs or PCTs

Ratios: Normal Ratios for med/surg, Day and Eve 5:1, Nights 6 or 7:1.

Stretch Ratios for Med/Surg Day/Eve 6:1

RTO Restrictions: We will not allow more than 1 week RTO in a contract

No holiday RTO. The agency nurse will not work all holidays but we need to use our discretion on which holiday we will need the agency nurse to work

Stretch Ratios for Med/Surg Day/Eve 6:1

We have PCTs on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKGs and any sort of activity of daily living

We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines

Float to MS, ICU, ED. If staff float to ICU or ED it is to care for Med/Surg level patients or be helping hands. Will not practice outside of scope
