  • Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
  • Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH
  • General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: All Protentional MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU diagnoses. Primary floating required is ICU Float but could float to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU units within the hospital
  • Ratio / Census: 1:2-3 ICU; 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS, MS Tele
  • Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
  • RTO: MAX 7 days
  • Weekends: Every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract)
  • Floating: Required
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
  • Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
