  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities.
  • The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a bill rate bump per hour.
  • MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS.
  • TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
  • If candidates have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package they are eligible to apply.
  • First Time Travelers Accepted.
  • Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12.
  • Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
  • Skillset Preferences: Central line experience, post-op patient assessments, experience with drains (foleys, JP drains, NG tubes).
  • Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals.
  • Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6 depending on staffing.
    Schedule information
