This position is for a Weekend Block Schedule.

Job requirements

RN Medical/Surgical specialty
Vaccines or Positive IGG Titer required
Fit Test required annually for all disciplines
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or declination documentation required
Influenza Vaccine required annually, starting September 4th, 2023
Proof of immunity or vaccination required for Varicella
Tdap Vaccine valid for 10 years from administered date required
Pre-assignment physical exam documentation required, updated annually
TB testing (2 Step PPD or IGRA) and proof of immunity required
Professionals working on a compact license must have address on Driver’s license matching the home state for the compact license

Unit specific information

Medical/Surgical unit expertise required
Ascension Medical Surgical Exam required
Ascension Pharmacology Exam required
Ascension Skills Checklist completion required annually

Additional Details

Not accepting exemptions for vaccines in specific areas
Chest X-Ray required for positive TB record
Possible contact with pediatrics/infants, mon-immune pregnant women (L&D areas), non-immune immunosuppressed patients
