Job Description

• Specializing in heart catheterizations and interventional radiology.

Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • CA Fluoro License
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • ARRT R (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • State License
• Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience.

Shift Specification

• Monday to Friday, 5x8s, 0700 - 1500

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Certifications and Competencies

• Certifications:

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
  • CCRN (Critical Care RN)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
  • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • IV Certification (if applicable)
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
• Competencies:

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (if applicable)

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start.
• Fit Test: Required within 1 year of start.
• Immunizations:

  • Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination (required during flu season)

Background and History Checks

• Background Check: 7 Year Background Check required within 6 months of start.
• FACIS Level 3 Search: Required within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter.

Application Requirements

• Must have a complete 7 years of work history in the application, including city and states of locations worked.
