Profession: Sonographer, Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM)

Duration: 13-weeks
Here at VHC Health - Maternal Fetal Medicine, the registered sonographer works closely with MFM providers, genetic counselors, medical assistants, nurses, and patient care representatives.
We see on average between 50-75 patients between 3 MFM providers.
Our sonographers are certified for cervical length examination through CLEAR and perform all OB exams and a few GYN Pelvic exams s/p procedures.
We see a wide range of patient diagnoses on a daily basis from congenital cardiac defects, skeletal dysplasia, open neural tube defects, fetal growth restriction, etc.
We get multiple add-ons through-out the day.

Schedule information

Schedule: 7:30am-4pm Monday through Friday- unless someone is off, then it would be 8am-4:30pm.

DEPARTMENT DETAILS: Sonographers certified for cervical length examination, performing OB exams and a few GYN Pelvic exams post-procedures. They deal with a wide range of patient diagnoses daily.
