Job details

Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities.
The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule.
Must have IN or compact license IN HAND to sub. No pending licenses accepted.
on call one evening per week and every 4th or 5th weekend.

Job requirements

ACLS BLS required.
Ablations.
Implants-ICD, PPM.
Structural Heart: TAVR, LAAO.
STEMI call required.
Interventional Radiology and Peripheral Vascular: ports, drains, biopsies, central lines, thrombectomy, PCI, dialysis access issues.
Pre/Post area does bedside TEEs and cardioversions.

Schedule information

on call one evening per week and every 4th or 5th weekend.

Unit specific information

The position includes responsibilities in perioperative nursing units, as well as in specialized units that might have more specific requirements and guidelines.

Additional Details

Locals accepted: Yes, with a specified difference in bill rate for travelers who reside within 50 miles of their assigned IU Health Facility.
