Job Description

The LTACH/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for:

• Providing patient care using the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Demonstrating critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for safe delivery of care.
• Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegating patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Providing direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Requirements

• Experience: 2 to 5 years of nursing experience required.
• Certifications:

  • ACLS & BLS (must be through the American Heart Association).
• Experience in LTAC: 2 years of recent LTAC and vent/trach experience.
• Licensure: Must have a valid Pennsylvania RN license.
