A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!! There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert. Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation. COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.

Job requirements

Travelers will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.

Unit specific information

Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start, within 48 hours of offer.
Tele B3A - Certs: BLS, ACLS - Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.
Tele Neuro - Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - Floating: To similar or lower acuity.
Medical-Surgical C5 - Certs: BLS, ACLS - Floating: Float to MedSurg Tele B2C and B2D
Medical-Surgical B2C - Certs: BLS, ACLS - Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts on the floor.

Additional Details

COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
Floating is required. Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start. Floating to different units mid-shift can happen.
