Schedule information

Monday- Friday with rotating weekends
0830-1700, which is negotiable
Requirement of 2 weekend shifts a month
Holiday Requirement

Unit specific information

Assigned 10 patients for an 8 hour shift
Typically will treat 5-7 patients a day
Common diagnoses include Orthopedics, neurological, cardiac, medical, surgical, oncology, critical care, pulmonary
Required to cover Orthopedics, medical, surgical, oncology, neurological areas

Additional Details

Highly engaged and collaborative therapy team
Team consists of PT, PTA, OT, OTA, SLP, and Rehab aides
Diverse skill set and a mix of newer and experienced clinicians

Pros

I was on a med onc unit so might be different culture on each unit. Travel friendly. Staff is great. Ratios were 1-5/6. Schedule was flexible. Cost of living depending on neighborhood was also good.
