Job details

Physical therapists (PTs) are health care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages, who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities.
PTs examine each individual and develop a plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
PTs work with individuals to prevent the loss of mobility by developing fitness- and wellness-oriented programs.
Physical therapists provide care in a variety of settings, including hospitals, private practices, outpatient clinics, home health agencies, schools, sports and fitness facilities, work settings, and nursing homes.

Job requirements

Must have WY PT license, attached to resume.
Must have 2 years recent PT experience, in hospital preferred.
Must have BLS certifications, attached to submission packet. RQI certifications will not be accepted.
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
Provides educational information to patients regarding injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy and rehabilitation therapy.
Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.

Schedule information

Shifts will be Monday-Friday (flexible for Tuesday-Saturday, Sunday-Thursday), with 1 Saturday per month weekend requirement.
