Job Description

Valley View Hospital is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Traveler RN to join the Family Birth Place Team. The role involves:

Working in L&D with responsibilities in OR, PACU, and postpartum care, providing couplet care.
Managing approximately 60 deliveries per month.
Caring for babies 32 weeks and up.
Collaborating with a fun and dedicated team focused on evidence-based care to enhance client experiences.

Shift Details

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends.
Call Rotation: Typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, subject to change.

Required Certifications

Current Colorado RN license or compact license to practice in Colorado
AHA BLS and ACLS
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support)
Current Flu Vaccine (no exemptions)

Additional Information

Radius Rule: Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility to be considered for a travel assignment.
