Certification details
- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- Ratios: 1:6-7
- Shift: NIGHT 3x12-Hour 36 or 48 hours. If 48 THEN NO OT BILLED UNTIL AFTER 48. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!
- RTO: 7 days MAX;
- Float Requirement: YES REQUIRED
- Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
- Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
- PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath
- SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc). Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop
- UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
- UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
- SCRUBS: Navy

- Skills: Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/StepdowN experience. Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience
- Certs: ACLS
- PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: NIH, Charge experience
- *MUST Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty.
- NM must interview prior to finalizing the offer
