Job details

36 hours per week
Targeted patient ratios are 1:6
Unit may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients
The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care
Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit

Job requirements

Must pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
BLS - must be able to read and interpret strips
1.5 years experience, experience in a level 1 or 2 preferred
Travel experience preferred
Must have recent EPIC experience

Schedule information

Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters
Assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to
Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday
Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract
Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine
Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives

Unit specific information

29-bed/Med Surg unit concentrates on Gynecology, Oncology, and Urogynecology (TVT, Cystoscopy, and A&P repair)
General Medical-Surgical diagnoses, including behavioral health that is not eligible for the behavioral health unit, Hematology (Sickle Cell)
Navy Blue Scrubs

Additional Details

Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer
RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion
Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application
