Job Description

  • Position: RN – MS/Tele Float
  • Start Date: 3-4 weeks out
  • Patient Ratios:
    • Days/Weekends: 1:5-6
    • Nights: 1:6
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years
  • First-timers Accepted: Yes
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule, plus holiday rotation obligation.
  • Certifications Required:
    • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • IV Start
    • Telemetry
  • Certifications Preferred: NIH Stroke Certification
  • On-call Requirement: No
  • Floating Requirement: Yes, will float to all medical units, including renal, oncology, and neuro.

  • TB Testing: Two negative PPDs or acceptable alternatives required.

Background and Reference Checks

  • References: Two professional references required, preferably from supervisors within the last year.
