    • BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)

Job Details

  • Target Ratios: 1:6/7 (1:6 during normal staffing, max 1:7 during critical staffing)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Hours Offered: 36 or 48 hours per week (if 48, no OT billed until after 48 hours)
  • Shift: 12HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15
  • RTO (Request Time Off): 7 days max for Aya Auto Offer; no block scheduling accommodated
  • Float Requirement: Floating required as needed
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

Patient Diagnoses

  • Patients are med-surg (no longer accepting cardiac telemetry patients)

Unit Systems

  • Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

Scheduling Type

  • Self-scheduling; no block scheduling accommodated

Unit Orientation

  • 24 hours

Scrubs

  • Navy and/or White

Additional Information

  • Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
  • Internal Notes:
    • AHA or American Red Cross certifications only accepted
    • Must complete various facility-specific documents and health requirements prior to start

Health and Safety Requirements

  • Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start
  • TB Testing: PPD, Qgold, or Tspot within 1 year of start
  • Vaccinations:
    • Flu vaccination required by 10/31/24
    • COVID-19 vaccination status as per current guidelines

Background Checks

  • Criminal check required within 90 days of start
  • Education verification required for highest degree earned

References

  • 2 professional references required within three years of start for travel, allied, and per diem acute care positions
