Unit Name: Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Brief Unit Description: 20-bed (MICU) Medical/Surgical ICU caring for a wide range of adult patients with various diagnoses.
Patient Population: All.
Bed Count: 20 beds.
EMR (Charting System): EPIC.

Job requirements

Years of Experience Required: 3+ years of ICU RN experience required, with 2+ years of continuous work experience in one location, preferably a MICU.
Rotating Shifts Required: All Day positions are 'Day Rotate'; day rotators may be rotated between shifts when needed. Night shift does not rotate.
RN to Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity.
Floating Required: Yes, when needed (mostly Medical/Surgical Units). Telemetry competency required.

Schedule information

ICU RN Nights & EOW - 36hrs
Day rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts as needed. Night shift does not rotate.
