Job Description

• Position for a MedSurg RN with a focus on general MedSurg nursing.
• Charge nurse experience is required.
• Minimal to no requests for time off (RTO) will be accepted.

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Preferred

Required Skills

• Minimum of one year of recent MedSurg experience is required.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Soarian.

Additional Information

• Scrubs: Royal Blue scrubs required (not provided).

  • Copy of Driver's License to prove residency within a 50-mile radius (candidates living within this radius will be considered, but the bill rate will be reduced).

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Required within one year of start and updated annually.
• TB Testing: Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 30 days of start.
• Flu Vaccination: Required during flu season unless a medical/religious exemption is approved.
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Not required for clearance, but proof of vaccination or exemption must be collected.

Background Check

• A 7-year criminal background check is required within 30 days of start and updated annually.

References

• Two recent supervisor/manager level references are required, verified within 12 months of start.

Education Verification

• Proof of education (diploma or transcript) is required.
