Job details

James Clinical Resource Unit - ONC/PCU EXP - 12 D/N or 12 NIGHTS.
Minimum 2 + years of high acuity PCU level or higher required! ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED!

Job requirements

Minimum 2 + years of high acuity PCU level or higher required.
Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Schedule information

12 D/N or 12 NIGHTS shifts.
Variable weekends based on unit needs.
No set/blocked scheduling as that is not offered to permanent staff.
Self-schedule requests - preferred schedule before final schedule posting.
First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift.
Five shifts of bedside orientation between weeks 2 and 3, then independent.

Unit specific information

Comprehensive Cancer Center, 318 acute care beds. All inpatient units/36 beds.
Units are specialized by cancer diagnosis.
Floating to MedSurg and PCU Oncology units including BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, PCU Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, Urology, Colorectal, Surgical Oncology, Corrections Healthcare.

Additional Details

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Comprehensive Cancer Center, 318 acute care beds, Specialized units by cancer diagnosis.
Floating to MedSurg and PCU Oncology units may be required.
Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls.
