- Nurses in this role will be caring for post surgical, medical, PCU stepdown on IP units and ER as hold patients.
- Competencies for these services as well as critical drips will be expected.
- Vent management, intensive/critical care and ED experience PREFERRED so RN can be utilized fully as a float pool staff member
Job details
- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit doesn't accept first time travelers
- PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics
- RATIO: 1:4-1/6
- UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC & SBAR
- Must have experience: Cardiac drips, TR band removal and Bipap usage, ACLS BLS
- ENPC Preferred
Job requirements
- RTO: MAX 7 days, Block Scheduling Not Guaranteed No RTO 3/29-4/7; 7/4-7/7
- WEEKENDS: Every Other
- FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if needed
- HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
