- Expectations: Neuro IR nurses assist with cases: stroke interventions, cerebral angiograms and associated interventions, thrombectomies, and circulating as the RN to assist during the case.
- Interventional Radiology (IR) cases include: moderate sedation when needed, specimen collection with circulation, working with Interventionalist and IR tech.
- Organ biopsies, GI Bleeds, paras, Thora's, angiograms, Line placement, dialysis catheter (tunneled and non-tunneled), UFIE's.
- Monday through Friday 0700 to 1630 Four nine-hour shifts. Day off is rotated
- 8 on-call shifts overnight in a 4-week period for Neuro and IR. Dual modalities rotated
- 30 min arrival time for Neuro/60 min arrival time for IR
- Weekday is Monday through Thursday beginning at 1630 until 0700 which is 14.50 hours
- Weekend is Saturday and Sunday 24 hours, back-up rotation, every 3rd weekend.
- This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine
- May come into contact with Covid Patients
