General Internal Medicine (F6/5) is a fast-paced medical unit that offers challenging and rewarding nursing opportunities.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who will: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional environment that fosters and values collaboration, respect, and education.
Join our team of remarkable nurses and have the opportunity to care for patients with complex medical diagnoses.
This is a 28-bed acute care unit focused on high-quality patient care and medical education. The unit is home to all three general medicine teaching services within the academic medical center.
F6/5 also provides specialty care to patients with infectious diseases as part of its Special Pathogens program.

Job requirements

Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.
Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years.

Schedule information

Shift: 36 hrs/wk, Night, 7pm-7:30am 12 hr shifts, every other weekend rotation and some holidays.

Current/valid Driver's License required if driving is a requirement of the position.
Required for Dialysis. Check Unit Description to determine if required for any other positions.
