Travelers will need to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (with 2 max attempts).
There is a pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation (study guides will be provided with first day instructions.

Schedule information

Unit specific information

Nurse:Patient Ratios 4:1 (with 2-3 PCTs on day shift).
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: post-op: colorectal, urological, bariatric, hepatobiliary, hysterectomy, breast recon, etc. AND Chemo/Oncology patients.
Charge nurse does not take assignment.
2 shifts with a preceptor for department specific orientation.
Scrub color/dress code: navy blue.

Additional Details

An ONS Chemo Provider Card is preferred, not necessarily the ONCC (certification).
Our unit is also equipped/prepped to admit appropriate patients to hall/overflow space and may need to prep some rooms to "double-bunk".
