- Cath Lab Tech - Job primarily involves working in the Cath Lab setting
Job details
- Able to set up sterile tables and scrub coronary angiogram/interventions, STEMI's, peripheral angiogram/intervention, thrombectomies, and a variety of IR cases, device implants
- Competent in all access site management (groin/radial/drains)
- Knowledge/skills with atherectomy devices, Impella, and IABP
Job requirements
- Shifts: 730a-400p
- Weeknight Call Requirement: 1 night per week; call begins at the end of shift until 0630 am
- Weekend Call Requirement: From the end of shift on Friday until Monday 6:30 am every 4th weekend
- Holiday Call Requirement: 1 Major Holiday and holiday weekend per year
- Call response time: 20 Minutes

- Orientation by Peers-Special Procedure Tech.
Unit specific information
- BLS not required
- EMR Equipment: McKesson/GE equipment
- 3 Suites/Labs with 5-10 cases per day on average
- Cardiologist on call every 4th day and 4th weekend
- Mandatory call as described in the schedule information
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs supplied by the department
- No floating requirements
