- Pre-Screen Unit - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision. Clinical screens will be sent on case-by-case basis.

- MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years - Unit accepts first time travelers
- PATIENT POPULATION: Adults to Geriatrics - CVOR
- REQUIRED SKILLS: ACLS, BCLS, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic. Heart Transplant is highly preferred.
- UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis EPIC, SBAR
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (for some specialties), Additional certifications depending on specialty.
- State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date
- Required Competencies: Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam, Color Blind Testing Online, Competency Exam, Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam, Skills Checklist within 12 months - updated annually
- RTO: MAX 7 days
- BLOCK or SELF SCHEDULING - not available
- WEEKENDS: Rotation
- CALL REQUIREMENTS: Yes/variable - Typically one weekday/call every week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks
- HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
- Major Holidays listed include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Day
- FLOATING: Yes, will be expected to float to Main OR if needed
- SCRUBS: Provided
- Unit accepts first time travelers
- Unit SYSTEMS: Pyxis EPIC, SBAR
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics - CVOR

- Managers may conduct interviews on a case-by-case basis
- Photo ID Required - Drivers License/State ID
- FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time, the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
