  • A hospital in southern Idaho is looking for a Occupational Therapist to work a 13-week travel contract.
  • The OT must have at least 1 year of experience and will be working four 10 hour shifts a week in an inpatient adult setting.
    Job requirements
  • Must have 1 year of licensed experience in acute inpatient or rehab experience.
  • Okay with first-time travelers.
    Schedule information
  • Four 10 hour shifts a week.
  • Shifts are 0730-1800.
  • No self scheduling.
  • Rotating weekends, unless the traveler is assigned to weekends as their regular shift.
  • Holiday Requirements: As needed.
    Unit specific information
  • Unit: Occupational Therapy Magic Valley Hospital Flr 2
  • # of patients treated per day: 10 to 12
  • Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Ortho-total joints, neuro- strokes, occasional brain injuries, medical, and General ICU.
  • Areas required to cover: Acute Inpatient and Rehab, potentially ICU- depends on experience and need for ICU.
  • Do you staff Rehab Aides: COTAs?: We have rehab aides, not COTA's.
  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Usually 2-3 days.

  • BLS Department: Occupational Therapy
  • General Certification Requirements: BLS
  • Other Certs Required for all OT: State licensure
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs permitted, color list available upon hire.
