- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Cath Lab Tech with X-ray experience for a travel contract. The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.
Job details
- Candidate must have 2 full years of experience, hold an active ARRT, BLS, ACLS, and CRT.
- Candidate must have fluoro.
- Must be comfortable with critically ill patients.
- Candidates must have experience with peripheral and coronary circ experience.
- Experience with Siemens/Phillips equipment preferred but not required.
Job requirements
- Shift: 12's (every other weekend)
- Call: 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month
- Holidays are optional if they want holiday pay
- 12 hour shifts
- One night of call per week
- Weekend call is also every 6th weekend
- The call crew stays until all cases for the day are done. They will have day off after call.
Schedule information
- Unit: Cath Lab & IR
- 4 rooms
- 15-20 cases per day
- Merge Hemo system in use
- We use laser, rotablator, nitric oxide, IVUS, Impella, IABP, FFR, angiojet.
- Comfortable with peripheral and coronary cases.
Unit specific information
- CERNER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- ALL MYJOURNEY MODULES NEED TO BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.
- Traveler will be pushed back if all modules are not completed. NO EXCEPTIONS
- Unit: Cath Lab Tech with X-ray experience
- Charge nurse available during the day
- Respiratory therapist on standby or working 24/7
- Pharmacy in house 24/7
- No floating required.
- 1-2 days of unit orientation
