Job details

Registered Nurse position available at James Cancer Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. The job entails a 12 Hour Night shift, focusing on infection prevention protocols and patient falls prevention. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required, caring for adults and geriatric patients diagnosed primarily with acute leukemia. Self-schedule requests accepted, and staffing ratios aim to be 1:4, possibly 1:5. The orientation includes a first week of day shifts, followed by 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor.

Job requirements

Experience with MS/Tele, Telemetry monitoring and interpretation, use of Rapid Response Teams, feeding tube and IV therapy management, blood product administration, central line and peripheral care, PICC line management, and starting IVs. EPIC experience also required.

Schedule information

No set/blocked scheduling. Weekends vary based on unit needs.
