    Job details
  • The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Responsible for providing quality imaging.
  • Works in support of the Radiologist providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
    Job requirements
  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH.
  • A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • One year of acute clinical radiology experience.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) required.
  • Proficient computer skills.
    Additional Details
  • Required - Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification
  • Valid Picture ID (State Drivers License, Passport, or State ID Card)
  • American Heart Association only.
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP required for certain positions as per department requirements.

  • IV Certification (LVN/LPN)
  • FIRE CARD (LA City facilities only - EHMC & SOH)
  • MAB is required for ER and Psych
  • Sonographer - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) Certificate
  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam and Color Blind Testing Online required within 1 year of start.
  • CA Harassment Prevention Training Certificate (2 year update)
  • Behavioral Prevention with CDC - Certificate of completion required for clearance
  • Sexual Harassment Prevention Training - Certificate of completion required for clearance
  • Photo (for Badge) - Required for all travelers
  • EMTALA Manual & Acknowledgement - must review and sign the acknowledgement prior to start
