Position Details

• Weekend Requirement: Yes, 3 weekends per 4-week schedule
• Floating Requirement: Will float between Labor & Delivery (L&D), Mother Baby, and OB Special Care units.

Certifications Required

• State license (must be active by start date)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AWHONN (Advanced or Intermediate)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)

Department Descriptions

• Labor & Delivery (L&D):

  • 12 LDRs, 3 ORs, 6 OB triage beds, and 8 OB Special Care beds.
  • Utilizes AWHONN staffing model.
  • Regional referral center for high-risk obstetric care.

• Mother Baby Center:

  • 34 rooms providing postpartum care for mothers and newborn care.
  • Baby Friendly Recognition.

Guaranteed Hours

• 36 hours for 3, 12-hour shifts
• 48 hours for 4, 12-hour shifts
• 40 hours for shifts under 12 hours (8 or 10-hour shifts)

Special Requirements

• EPIC charting experience required
• Must have travel experience
• Antepartum experience required
• Experience with facility births/month: 100-200
• Modules are NOT billable; please account for 5 hours

• Physical Exam: Required within 12 months of start
