Job Description
- Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years
- Schedule: Every other weekend or two weekends per month
- Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:2-3
- Certifications Required:
- BLS-AHA
- NIHSS
- ACLS (preferred)
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Additional Information
- Time Off Policy: Travelers requesting time off during holidays will not be accommodated. Holidays include Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
Required Certifications
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS: Basic Life Support
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (if applicable)
- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (if applicable)
- TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (preferred for ER)
- EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (for L&D, OBGYN, Mother & Baby)
- NIH Stroke Certification: Required for all RN candidates
Health Documents
- Physical Exam: Must be completed within 45 days of start.
- TB Test: Proof of a negative TB test within a year of start.
- Vaccination Records:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- Flu Vaccine (required for specific start dates)
- COVID-19 Vaccination (two doses required)
Background Check
- Must be completed within 45 days of start and updated annually. Includes a 7-year work history and various checks.
References
- Two supervisory references required, completed within the last 3 years.
