Job Description

• Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years
• Schedule: Every other weekend or two weekends per month
• Nurse-Patient Ratio: 1:2-3
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS-AHA
  • NIHSS
  • ACLS (preferred)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Information

• Time Off Policy: Travelers requesting time off during holidays will not be accommodated. Holidays include Valentine's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

Required Certifications

• ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• BLS: Basic Life Support
• PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (if applicable)
• NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (if applicable)
• TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (preferred for ER)
• EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (for L&D, OBGYN, Mother & Baby)
• NIH Stroke Certification: Required for all RN candidates

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Must be completed within 45 days of start.
• TB Test: Proof of a negative TB test within a year of start.
• Vaccination Records:

  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Flu Vaccine (required for specific start dates)
  • COVID-19 Vaccination (two doses required)

Background Check

• Must be completed within 45 days of start and updated annually. Includes a 7-year work history and various checks.

References

• Two supervisory references required, completed within the last 3 years.
