Nice place, great people, terrible staffing
I worked in the ER for day shift and now night shift. It is a small town community hospital so the rates are terrible. There is a new manager (with no ER experience) so he is learning ER staffing. Day shift generally has adequate staffing and night shift is always very minimal staffing. For a community hospital where resources are usually low, they need to do better. Oh yeah, and Ballad Health (the parent organization) is not willing to negotiate any extra pay if I get floated and they claim there is no charge pay but they still expect you to help charge nurse and take patient assignments… AVOID HERE.
