Beds: 37 beds

Ratios: 1 to 5, 1 to 4 for tele

EMR: Cerner

Charge Nurse: yes but they do not take a patient assignment

Nurse Aides: yes - 2 on day and night shift

Weekend Requirement: every other

Holidays: they will work them in the perm staff rotation

Scrub Color: navy

Tele: phillips - they do have a monitor tech - nurses must be able to read and interpret strips

Nurse's Read Strips: yes

Drips: yes - cardizem, heparin (non-titrating)

Vents: No

Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: on call after hours

IV Team: No

RT 24/7: Yes

Pharmacy 24/7: No - they are on call after hours, they are on 8 hr shifts, use marian pharmacy for after hours

Floating: yes to MS, tele, or rehab, can also float to MS or Tele at Marian

Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Ortho, CHF, COPD, general surgeries, Nstemi's, pneumonia, ETOH, pre-screen them for higher acuity (tele nurses)

Managers will do 2nd interview.

Travel experience is preferred.
