Job Description

• Position: Med/Surg Tele RN
• Shift: Night Shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Requirements:

  • Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
  • 18 months permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignments.
  • Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required.
  • Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Additional Information

• Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
• Documentation Required:

  • Government-Issued Photo ID.
  • Various certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.).
  • Health documents (Physical Exam, TB test, vaccinations).
  • Background check and references.

Certifications and Competencies

• Required Certifications:

  • AHA BLS and ACLS.
  • NIH Stroke Certification.
  • State License Verification.
  • NURSYS Verification.
• Health Requirements:

  • Fit Mask testing.
  • Seasonal flu vaccination.
  • Drug testing.
• Competencies:

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam.
  • Unit-Specific Competency Exam.

References

• Two references required from recent employment (within the last year) from a manager or supervisor.
