Position Details

• Position Title: Rad Technologist
• Shift: 3x12's (0700-1930); every other weekend; every other holiday
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience: 2 years of experience required
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Ohio Radiologic License
  • BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
• Education: Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Skills: Strong OR experience, large hospital experience, and familiarity with:

  • Fluoroscopy
  • Portables
  • Level II Trauma
  • Endoscopy
  • Inpatient/Outpatient procedures

Equipment Familiarity

• Shimadzu with Konica and Fuji DR panel
• GE OEC c-arm
• Shimadzu and Siemens FL equipment

Additional Information

• Facility Size: 1,059 bed magnet hospital and flagship of OhioHealth
• Scrubs: Charcoal grey scrubs
• EMR System: EPIC

Required Documentation

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - if applicable
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - if applicable
  • Other certifications as specified for specific roles (e.g., Chemotherapy for Oncology RNs)

• Health Documents:

  • Physical Exam
  • TB Questionnaire
  • Drug Testing
  • Vaccination Records (e.g., Tdap, Flu, Hepatitis B, etc.)

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year background check
  • State-specific searches for Home Health positions

Compliance Requirements

• Onboarding: Candidates must complete various compliance documents and verifications prior to starting.
• Fingerprinting: Required for specific roles and must be completed at designated locations.
