Specialty: MS/Tele, 36 or 48 hours accepted for this position

Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6 with occasional 1:7.

This is a fast pace/high case load facility – please ensure candidates are cleared on the job requirements prior to submitting

Patient Diagnoses: 5 North is a medical surgical unit, COPD, HF, AMS, CVA, Cardiac Arrythmias, Etc

Charting: Meditech Expanse

Total Staffed Beds: 606

Scrub Color: Navy

First time travelers are accepted

Every other weekend required

Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away)

Must pass cardiac exam during orientation

EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation

Nursys: No hits are allowed, if there is a hit of ANY kind it is an automatic redirect

Every other weekend required

Preferred: Med Surg experience for ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
