  • 48 bed unit caring for medical surgical patients specializing in Neurology and Neurosurgery. Eight of our beds are equipped for long term EEG monitoring. Our specialized patient population includes: strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, brain and spinal cord tumors, and other neurological conditions.
  • Mixed acuity unit, ratios vary

  • Years of experience REQ: 2 Years
  • First-timers accepted: YES
  • Weekend REQ: Four weekend shifts in a four-week schedule period (two weekends in a four week period or one shift/weekend for a four week period)
  • Holiday Requirement: Travelers must work 2/3 major holidays - please submit this request with application
  • Certs REQ: BLS (ACLS strongly preferred)
  • Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs: YES
  • Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)
  • Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.
  • RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application.
  • 100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY
  • Scrubs: MANDATORY - RNs wear Steele gray scrubs with the Nebraska Medicine logo printed on the back. Information on how to obtain Nebraska Medicine branded scrubs will be shared once traveler is confirmed. Facility also sells gray T-shirts that can be worn in their company store.
  • Parking: Professionals can obtain a parking permit (cost depends on the lot, but is approx. $55/month) or they can use daily rate parking ($3 to park for 20 hrs).
