Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6

Job requirements

Must have EPIC experience
Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
BLS & ACLS certifications are required - must be able to read and interpret strips
Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the High-Risk Respiratory Unit (HRRU) unless PAPR is offered/needed
1.5 years experience and some level 1 or 2 preferred
Travel experience preferred

Schedule information

Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion
Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday
Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 3 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract/2 shifts for 8-week contract
Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine

We are a 35-bed medical and radiation oncology unit
Specializing in oncology and hematology patients
Mixed acuity: Med Surg and Advanced Care patients
Seeing blood products and chemotherapy patients, among other skills

Additional Details

RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion
Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report; other certs not needed if listed on the application
