  • Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery at Gundersen Palmer Lutheran Hospital.
    Job requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years in specialty area.
  • Experience in Critical Access Hospital beneficial.
  • EPIC charting experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in Labor & Delivery, Post-partum.
  • Previous charge experience is preferred.
    Schedule information
  • 12 hr NOCS 4:45p-5:15a.
  • Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation.
  • Variable Call required; 30-min response time.
    Unit specific information
  • Nurse to Patient Ratio - OB (Low risk) 1:1 active labor, 1:2 for early labor, post-partum (couplets) up to 1:3 (1:3 is a rare occurrence).
  • CNAs work both shifts.
  • OB Scrubs provided by the hospital.
    Additional Details
  • 36 hours guaranteed per week.
  • Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except on holidays where the unit is closed.
  • Candidate must start the medical portion of compliance within 48 hours of the accepted offer, or within 24 hours for a quick start.
