Number of Beds - 40
Day Shift – 1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/4 PCTs/1 Unit Secretary
Night Shift – 1 Charge Nurse/10 staff/bedside nurses/3 PCTs
Patient Ratios – 1:4; stretch staffing at 1:5 ratio
Every other weekend

Type of patients: patients with CHF, MI, CP, arrhythmia, Pulmonary Hypertension; valvular disease, endocarditis; DKA; post cardiac cath/stent; post pacer/ICD/ ablation.
Type of equipment: Zoll, Baxter pump, lift equipments, bladder scanner;
EMR - Cerner
Floating Area(s): All MedSurg units, Stepdown units, COVID unit, and ER holding.
Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - all white or all navy blue or white top and navy blue pants.
Unit Guidelines/Policies: Will be discussed during orientation
