Job Description

Valley View Hospital is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery (L&D) Traveler RN to join the Family Birth Place Team. The role involves:

• Working in L&D with responsibilities in OR, PACU, and postpartum care, providing couplet care.
• Managing approximately 60 deliveries per month and caring for babies 32 weeks and up.
• Collaborating with a fun and dedicated team focused on evidence-based care to enhance client experiences.

Valley View Hospital has a history of excellence in providing compassionate, patient-centered care and has recently received the Pathway to Excellence Designation.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends.
• Call Rotation: Typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks, subject to change.

Required Certifications

• Current Colorado RN license or compact license in good standing.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• STABLE certification.
• Proof of Flu Vaccine (no exemptions).

Additional Information

• Radius Rule: Traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility to be considered for a travel assignment.
