Schedule information
- The unit is MedSurg with 53 beds
- Charge nurses do not take assignments
- Nurse aids have duties such as blood sugars and vital signs
- Tele monitors are present, RN not required to read tele
- Patients include cases such as implanted radiation, but charge does any chemo aspects
- Orientation includes 2 12-hour shifts on the unit
- Dress code includes black pants and scrub tops (solid or appropriate print)
- RN aids ratios of 1:9 on Days and 1:11 on Nights

- The facility is open to 90 Day Emergency Licenses
- Common diagnoses include Pneumonia, CHF, COPD, Sepsis, COVID, stroke, and general surgical overflow
- Option to go permanent if deemed a good fit
