Job Description

• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday
• Minimum Experience: 3 years; 1st timers accepted
• Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics
• Work Settings: Inpatient and Outpatient
• Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans on inpatient, ER, and outpatient patients following Piedmont protocols.
  • Start IVs, consent patients, and provide excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with a team of Technologists, Nurses, Doctors, and Transporters.

• Trauma Level: Level 3 Trauma Hospital
• Bed Count: 237 beds
• ED Treatment Areas: 59 treatment areas
• Average Caseload: 12-24 patients per day across 4 rooms

Equipment and Systems

• CT Scanners: Siemens and Philips
• Medical Records System: Epic
• PACS System: Fuji PACs

Requirements

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• ARRT (R)(CT) (Computed Tomography)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
• State License Verification (if applicable)
• NIH Stroke Certification (if applicable)

Compliance

• Full compliance required to start on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation schedules.

Additional Information

• RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum of 7 days
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend unless specified otherwise
• Floating: Within the facility if needed
• Call Requirements: 8 days total, with at least 2 weeks' notice
• Holidays: Expected to work major holidays as specified

Health and Background Requirements

• Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start
• Vaccinations:

  • Flu vaccine or declination required
  • COVID vaccine or declination required
• Background Check: Required within 30 days of start
