  • Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW). The last day for IN RNs to start a NEW contract is 9/9 (allows them to finish a contract by 11/30).
  • **Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
  • First Time travelers accepted
    Job requirements
  • Required Certifications/License: ACLS, BLS, and RRT
  • Required Skills: ER, Adult Critical Care, Extubation, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning, ARDS, Aspiration, Bronchoscopy, COVID, Fresh tracheostomy, Pneumonia, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Inhaled steroids, Arterial punctures, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, ABG interpretation, Drawing arterial blood gases
    Unit specific information
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Assist with bronchoscopies. Perform and assist with endotracheal intubation.
  • Patient Diagnoses: General RT, ventilators, NIV Philips V60 is primary platform, and we use Hamilton too, Hamilton is ventilator platform.
  • Special Equipment: Nitric oxide, High frequency jet ventilation, High frequency oscillatory ventilation.
    Additional Details
  • Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted.
  • Online Verification of License to include expiration date and any disciplinary actions (IN.gov).
